Carnival Week

It's been awhile since I last blogged. Was too busy lately because I was involved in my school carnival and I have lots of homework this week.

Tuesday
Songs dedication for everyone was played through the speaker during our respective recesses. Had songs like Tong hua, Lao shu ai da mi and lots more. These two songs really remind me of YCF. Seriously, memories flashed back my mind. YCF was indeed a memorable event. Guess, YCF is only the beginning of the journey. There's still more activities ahead of me. Even my friends are interested to know about it. =)

Wednesday
After school, we had our class debate against 3N2. I was the reserved though. Lol. However, we won in the end. Yeah, we were delighted but not 3N2. I should say Raymond Szeto have lots of question to asked uh? From his facial expression, I could see that he wasn't satisfied that our class won. Got in to Semi-finals. Tomorrow I will be one of the speakers. Ahh! We only have a day to prepare our relevant points and we are the opposition for the topic 'This house believes that there are too much violent in entertainment.' It's hard. Very hard to elaborate on.

Thursday
I was utterly nervous when it was my turn to speak up. My hands were practically trembling that I have to use both my hands to hold the cards. I knew that 3N2 wanted to give us a hard time. There were lots of questions streaming in one by one for us that I hardly have the time to write my answers. I knew they did it deliberately. Lol no offence though. We spread the message to 3E5 to help us out too! Anyway thanks guys who were there to support us. We knew that we wouldn't win when the fourth speaker, Christian opposed us. His words killed us all; we were actually out of point. Yeah, I admit I don't even know what I am talking about. Well, my class got the best speaker award. Jing Ying, great job. Yes, Wee Yang said I was a good speaker too! Thanks for that compliment. Mrs Dav didn't say I was a lousy speaker. She just said she didn't hear any rebut from me. Lol, which teacher would give such a comment? Lousy speaker? Laughs. Just to clear some doubts, Abigail. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the finals. I think it doesn't matter who wins or loses what matters is the journey to success. I have really learned a lot from this debate. Great success for 3E5! They will be competing with 3N1, which I think it isn't much of a problem for them. The speakers from 3E5 are skillful.

Friday
Final round of debate, as expected 3E5 won! Yeah, almost everyone jumped for joy. Okay, lunched with Eugenia, Wee Yang and Jing Ying. Then went back home. Can't wait to meet my phoenix mates tomorrow. Sigh, some of my friends will be at TBSC because they are in SD/FD (South region) Can't take pictures with you guys. I miss everyone!
